Exploration Day
Exploration Day
Exploration Day
at West Valley Elementary School is an academic and
fun-oriented event during which students in small groups
participate in a number of "hands-on"
enrichment sessions. The program is
about broadening our childrens educational
experience by increasing their awareness of the diversity
and creativity of our world. Enrichment session topics
span a variety of areas and include science, art,
business, sports, and cultural diversity.
Parents and members of our community serve as presenters
and support staff volunteers. It is an exciting and
educational event that the whole school shares and an
opportunity for parents to be involved alongside their
child. Volunteers are greatly appreciated and are very
much needed in a whole variety of ways to make this day
happen. If you can't volunteer time on the day, there are
many other ways you can help. Please consider joining our
team on this special day.
