What's Up for the week of June 11, 2007

CONGRATULATIONS TO ANDI  KALKWARF - Kennedy's Teacher of the YEAR

updated daily

To be able to check your child's grades and attendance, on line you must register for Parent Connect.

How do I check for homework assignments?

To check for homework and class assignments, most teachers use Teacher Web. This is not a feature of Parent Connect. You may access Teacher Web by clicking on "homework" on the side bar (to your left on this page) and then clicking on the teacher whose assignments you wish to access.

What is Parent Connect?
Parent Connect is the software program implemented at each Middle School, which authorizes parents to check grades, attendance, and other student and school information. Because of the privacy issue regarding the information, each parent or guardian must provide proof in the form of a driver license or other legal photo id when they register to use the program.

What do I need to do to register?
Begin by logging on to http://parentconnect.cupertino.k12.cal.us/ and follow steps 1 and 2 to download and print the instructions and registration form.
Then, follow step 3 by clicking on the Register button and carefully fill out the parent and student information form and click on the Submit button.
The last step is to bring your completed registration form (printed from step 2) to the school office along with your legal photo id for verification. You will then be mailed your user id and password within two weeks from your initial log in to Parent Connect.

YOU MAY REGISTER FROM 7:30 AM TO 3:30 PM.
