School Site Council (SSC)
Simply stated, the School Site Council (SSC) is a team of administrators, teachers and parents working for school improvement.
Dilworth receives supplemental educational improvement funds from the School Improvement Program (SIP). The law that created SIP requires each participating school to have an elected governing body, called the School Site Council (SSC), to ensure that the interests of the different segments of the school community are represented in the school improvement process. SSC is responsible for annually reviewing and updating the School Plan and directing the use of the school improvement funds, GATE funds, and outside grants to meet the program needs of the school. SSC meets once a month before school.
Home and School Club (H&SC)
The Dilworth Home and School Club (H&SC) is an organization comprised of Dilworth parents, teachers, and staff. Our objective is to promote communication between home and school, to raise funds to assist the school administration in obtaining educational and recreational equipment and materials, and to act as a base for obtaining volunteer support.
