Montclaire’s 2010 WATSA

 

Aloha Montclaire Family,

 

Montclaire Educational Foundation (MEF) will hold its 17th annual Walk-A-Thon and Silent Auction (WATSA) on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  This year’s theme is “Montclaire’s Hawaiian Luau”, and the campus will be transformed into a tropical paradise.  We look forward to you joining us for a fabulous day of fun and festivities.

Final WATSA Reminders

 

Aloha Montclaire!!!

 

There are just 2 more days until WATSA!  Monte has a few important reminders for you:

 

1. Bring your BID NUMBER

Don’t forget your bid number, which can be found on the label on the front of your Silent Auction catalog.  If you forget your number or don’t have one, please find a Silent Auction volunteer in the GLC to help you.  Our volunteers can look up your bid number on the spot or get one assigned to you.

 

2. Don’t forget your CASH or CHECKBOOK

Cash and checks are appreciated at WATSA. Bring your checkbooks and cash to buy:  Food, Raffle tickets, Kids’ Activities tickets, Grade Projects, Silent Auction items, etc.  You must pick up and pay for auction items from 2-3:30 pm in the Cashiers’ Room located in Room 22.  

 

3. Sponsor Cards are a MUST

Your child must bring his/her Sponsor Card to the WATSA Registration Desk in Room 20 of the GLC tomorrow.  Both parent and child MUST sign the Permission Slip portion of the Sponsor Card.  Extra Sponsor Cards are in the school office.

New Start Procedures!

Warm-ups begin at 8:45 and will be led by the school PE coaches Mark Hutt and Donna Verna.  Three separate warm-up zones will be marked clearly by grade level, and parents are requested to encourage their walkers to gather in the proper areas.  As warm-ups are wrapping up, the coaches will lead each group of students onto the course in orderly fashion.  Please remind your walker to stay with her or his grade level.  Walkers must WALK for the start of the first lap.
