Any time is a great time to start earning free money for the John Muir PTA! Please read below about the ways you can help.

• Amazon School Rewards:  Whenever you want to make a purchase at Amazon, access the Amazon web site using the School Rewards icon below and log in as you normally do. When you make a purchase, a portion of the proceeds will be deposited to John Muir PTA's Wells  Fargo Account.
  
  
  
• Purchase scrip gift cards from the John Muir PTA: The PTA buys gift cards at a discount from participating vendors and sells them to you at face value. For example, a $10 gift card might cost the PTA $9.60. You buy the $10 gift card from the PTA for $10 and use the gift card to make $10 worth of purchases at the vendor. The PTA keeps the 40 cent difference. Note: 25% of net revenues are credited directly to your child’s classroom for the teacher to use for supplies. • Join eScrip: eScrip is a service where participating business partners contribute a percentage of your purchases to the schools, groups, and organization of your choice. After you enroll in the free program, whenever you make a purchase from these vendors, a portion of your purchase is remitted to the John Muir PTA. To participate in this free program, register your card(s) at http://www.escrip.com. Specify John Muir as your school. Be sure to specify the John Muir school that has participant ID# 136926433.
  • Shop through the eScrip Online Mall. Click on this eScrip icon to access the websites of Amazon, Best Buy, OfficeMax and many other participating online stores to earn $s for the John Muir PTA. You'll first be prompted to click an Add button next to "John Muir Elementary PTA". After that, click Next, and follow the next prompts. You'll soon be taken to a list of vendors which you can click on to shop!
  • In the Fall, renew your eScrip Safeway registration: If you’ve registered your Safeway Card for eScrip, each Fall you must sign in to eScrip and click the Safeway link to reregister it. For assistance with registering or reregistering your Safeway Card with eScrip, email the John Muir PTA a message that includes your name, address, and Safeway Card number(s). A board member can (re)register your Safeway Card for you. johnmuirpta@yahoogroups.com.
• Register your Target Card. If you are a Target shopper, you can click this link to order a Target VISA card or Target Card and configure your account so that a portion of your purchases are remitted to the John Muir PTA.  To designate John Muir to receive funds generated by your Target purchases, specify School ID 30631 when prompted.
• Save your Box Tops for Education. Many popular products you already buy have Box Tops for Education coupons on them. Each coupon is worth ten cents for our school. This might not seem like a lot, but if each family submitted 50 Box Tops over the year, the PTA would raise $1,500! You can put your saved Box Tops in the "Box Top" box in the John Muir office. See this page for instructions.
• If you register with Box Top for Education Online, you can sign on to your new account and shop through the links on those pages. A percentage of your purchases is remitted to John Muir PTA.
• Pick up a Lucky SHARES card in the office. Present this card to the cashier at the beginning of your transaction. John Muir will receive a percentage of your purchase through earned points.
