Welcome back. I hope you all were able to enjoy some time off during Spring Break last week.

As the end of our morning program draws near, I would like to give you an update, as well as remind you that the students will not be coming in for class this week because of STAR testing. We would prefer that you help your child prepare by ensuring they get plenty of sleep by going to bed early, eat a good breakfast, and leave for school with a positive attitude. These small things can make a big difference. I had told the class before the break that we would not be meeting during the first week of testing and that class will resume on Tuesday, May 3rd.

As I have mentioned before, the students have been working on a business project that required them to create a new product. They have conducted market surveys, as well as produced a prototype. They are in the process of making imovies advertising their product and we will finish the movies next week.

The students and I would like to invite you to our Morning Enrichment Trade Show that is scheduled for Friday, May 13th, at 1:00 in the GLC. The Trade Show will provide an opportunity for the students to showcase what they have accomplished this session. They are looking forward to showing off their product, their displays, and their movies.
